I have a slide with a base layer and four others. I have the learner selecting an object (button/circle/etc) to "open" a layer to read further information. How do they get back to the base layer? My solution is to have a back button.
You can insert an object, for example an "x" shape on the "other" layers. Then, add a trigger to "hide layer, this layer" when Learners click on the X...or whatever object/shape. This brings them back to the base layer.
Thanks for the suggestion - I used a back button with the trigger to hide the layer. Works fine.
I do have another question though - when I move to another screen via the Next button and then return using the Prev button, I see all the layers of the previous screen: base/layer 1/layer 2 etc. so that you can't read/see anything. Its a mess.
What do I need to do to hide everything but the base layer upon using the Previous button?
Is the slide set up to reset to initial state? You can do this by clicking the little gear icon at the bottom right of the slide to open the Slide Properties dialog box and click the drop-down by "when revisiting."
