Moving project to a new drive

Nov 05, 2020

Hello team - I wonder if you can help.

I need to move all of my projects - From a drive D: to a drive E:

This means the paths to all the documents that are linked to the project files are broken - there are hundreds of them.

Is there a better way to do this? Or a simple way to find / repair the broken filepaths as a batch?

Thanks

Adam

Hi Adam,

Have you considered remapping the new drive E: to D:?

You can do this whether it's local or a network drive. You'd have to remap your old D: to something else first, so that you could map the new drive E: to D:.

I found a couple of articles online, but there are a ton.
