JavaScript is not a feature that we offer support for.
We are, however, aware of the issue where previous code was working and no longer does in Storyline 360 and this has been shared with our team to look into further.
I will add this thread to the report for user impact and so that we can update here when applicable. Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed quickly, while others take longer to resolve. Here's more information on how we identify and tackle bugs.

This should help you. It works for both HTML5 and Flash.
Hi Russel,
Thanks for your file and help. I tested it. But it doesn't work in SL360
var player = GetPlayer();
var volumeCount = player.GetVar('volumeCount');
$('audio').prop('volume',volumeCount);
$('audio') calls the html audio element and that bit doesn't works.
Anyone else a solution for this problem?
Mark
No - I am working on the same issue. I can get it to work on Web but not on LMS.
hi Amber, How were you able to make this work on the web? It works for me when I run it locally via a browser, but not when I post it.
Okay, can we get an admin to answer this question?

Thank you Leslie!
Lizzie over here https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/javascript-to-mute-audio?page=4 posted the solution. Make sure you visit the thread and thank her. Here's the code:
var appState = require("helpers/appState");
appState.onToggleVolume();//mute
