I am SUPER new to Articulate, although I've used PowerPoint daily for 25 years. Question: I am working with a client who sent me files before I had Articulate software so I could view the course. Now, what kind of files do I ask for, for an existing course? Would it make sense to just say send me your Articulate files so I can make the changes? Thanks (I have almost finished the tutorials.)
What Lance said, if the client wants to update a course built in Storyline, you would need the .story files. If the client has a power point presentation, you could import that type of file to Storyline as well.
I have a client now that I'm working for that has storyboards in word docs with .story files as templates, and wants me to continue their work using the storyboards and .story files to complete their projects, so they've sent me all of those files to work on.

Hi Charlotte
If you are going to be making updates to an existing course, then you will need the .story files.

Thank you so much. - Charlotte
