You can format notes in Storyline, using many of the text and paragraph formatting options on the Home tab. Are these the steps you followed to insert your notes? If you're still not seeing them show up, we'd be happy to take a closer look at it. Please submit a case, including your .story file, using this link so our support team can assist you further.

Thanks Peter- I followed these steps. I found out by submitting a help request that the notes by default are white text so they weren't showing up on the white background. I had changed my text to a red shade in the menu but it doesn't effect the notes text color. I can't find anywhere to change the notes text color.  The help desk told me to change the background color--I'd rather change the text color to match the menu.  Is it possible to change notes text color?  Don;t see it anywhere.
