Object Reference not set to an instance of an object Oct 16, 2014 By Howie Pearson I'm trying to save a project and i keep getting this error message which prevents me from saving. Anyone any ideas how i can get round this?
Phil Mayor Hero over 9 years ago10/16/14 at 12:20 am (UTC) normally fatal at this point. Couple of things that have worked for me in the past. Open task manager and kill programs and processes (need to be very careful here) to give more resources and try again. Open task manager and kill the explorer process (this will restart) and then try to save. Both of these are really last resort and normally at this point I am resigned to losing what I have built.
