I have a timeline and wish to have the video paused on the first frame and then play the media at a particular point. I am entering an action that says "at the start of timeline pause video 1" but it seems to pause 1 or 2 frames in rather than on the first frame. Is there a way to ensure it pauses on the first frame?
Hi Adrian, maybe you can try to consider adding 1 more trigger to the video which will trigger the video to play when the defined time/cue(set on the time field) point was reached. This will pause the video from the first frame and play it afterward based on the time set.
The video does not pause at the beginning unless I put a Pause trigger at the start of the timeline, it just plays straight away. I already have a play trigger at the appropriate time. The issue is at the beginning of the timeline, where it pauses at frame 2 or 3 not frame 1, and when it gets the play trigger it backs up those one or two frames and then plays which looks awful

Withe the video selected, click on the Video Tools>Options tab and select Play Video: When triggered.
Thanks Michael, I just found the Video Options and was logging in to say don't worry I have solved my problem, thanks for the answer anyway!! Cheers
