This is a good inquiry. I've also been looking for an option to change the measurement unit from pixels to something else, but unable to find any. I believe we can't. I also did a bit of research from older discussions and articles, and they were all suggesting that it cannot be changed.
Although, we can manually computer/convert pixels to inches by using online converters. I found this link helpful:

We just need to have some ideas about DPI (dots per inch) of screens and images.
