I've built a lesson in which I've used the Notes tab in the player to add additional details, renaming it 'Recap'. It works fine, but, when the user clicks the tab to see this info, the slide goes straight to the incorrect layer... Any ideas on how to stop this from happening?
I've added a copy of the slide as a project to show what I mean.
Hi, Paul -- Thank you for sharing your file, and sorry to hear of your difficulties! I will do some testing shortly, and will be in touch as soon as possible with my findings. Your patience is appreciated! :)
Hi,Paul -- I appreciate your patience while I tested your file as seen here via tempshare.articulate.com. When you click on the link I've shared and the project opens, if you click the Recap tab, I am not being taken to the incorrect layer, so perhaps I am unclear on the behavior you are experiencing. Can you please share a bit more about the order of the steps you are taking when you experience this behavior?
Ah, I thought I’d got it wrong for a minute there, but, if you click the button to proceed, and the scene zooms in, try clicking the recap button then… I think it wasn’t happening for you because the timeline is paused until the button is clicked.
I see, Paul -- many thanks for the clarification, and after revisiting your module, I am also finding that clicking on Recap after zooming in does immediately show the incorrect response layer. I am not certain what could be adjusted to avoid this unwanted behavior, so I would like to have our Support Engineers take a closer look for you. I will go ahead and submit a case on your behalf momentarily, and will be sure to keep an eye on your case to see what they find!
And Paul, I just wanted to stop in to confirm that your case, #00797911, is now entered into our system and you should receive an email to this effect shortly. In the event that you do not receive this message, please check your SPAM folder or let us know here in your post! :)
