We have several trainings that are created in Presenter and our client is considering republishing them in Storyline so that users can access them on tablets. Is that possible at all? Are there any challenges? Please share
There are several benefits to using SL for creating tablet-happy output - more so than using Presenter.
However, there are known issues with importing the latter into SL, e.g. formatting/layout goes crazy. Maybe it depends on the objects you're working with and how complex things are.
Remember SL offers a heck of a lot more functionality than Presenter full stop. For a start, any clickable animations/"popups" that take place over multiple PowerPoint slides can be handled via layers and states on just a single slide.
Not sure how great SL is on devices other than iPad. Others will be along with more experience there. Worth checking out articles like this though ...
