I have one graphic on the screen that is about 1/4 of the screen. I have 2 hotspots on it. One is incorrect and one correct. I have feedback by question, score by question, 2 attempts and submit by player button. I do have a submit button display from slide properties. My problem is when you click anywhere on the whole screen (outside of the correct area) it says it is incorrect. This is even when you click somewhere that is just text on screen and not the hotspot graphic. What am I doing wrong? Thank you

Hi Leisa,
Can you share your story or a screenshot of your triggers?

it is attached, sorry it is a freeform question with a hotspot
I see that it has a trigger of submit results unassigned when the user clicks the correct hotspot
but it even allows user to click anywhere off the picture which of course marks it incomplete
Hello Leisa!
A Freeform Pick One slide will actually work better in this scenario. With this type of slide, your learners will only have the option to click on the answer choices you've set-up.

Is there a way to get the actual hotspots working correctly? The actual picture I am using (company property) is actually a diagram with 16 possible answers. The user needs to be able to pick the correct one but also know if the others are wrong.
I see that the pick one does work but not 100% the way I want it to work.
thank you for your help
Hi Leisa
in addition to adding the correct hotspot you can also add the 15 incorrect ones - is it not working like that for you or am I misunderstanding your issue?
that worked thank you everyone
one last question- is there a way to add a on selected state for a hotspot?
I would like them to know they clicked on it before they click the submit button. I am in the file now and the states is greyed out for hotspots
Hi Leisa!
Hotspots don't have states, but you can use transparent rectangles instead! I hope that helps. ☺️
that is perfect, thank you
