Quiz Attempts - Countdown

Hi, I am building an assessment and each time a learner has exhausted an attempt, I would like the results screen to display the number of attempts remaining.

For example, an assessment has 3 attempts in total to be deemed successful.

1. First attempt is unsuccessful, on the results screen I want it to now display they now have 2 attempts remaining.
2. Second attempt is unsuccessful, on results screen I now want it to display they now have 1 attempt remaining.
3. If unsuccessful on final attempt, it will display all attempts exhausted.

I have tried using Trigger Wizard but no joy so far....
