I recorded my screen and insert slides as a "step by step slides" and "test mode steps". I want user click on a button to proceed to next step but Storyline captured the image with highlight on the correct choice (image attached).
Is there a way to remove that image highlight or capture without that highlight?
That highlight won't be shown to users - it's a hotspot so that if they click there it proceeds to the next slide or whatever the next action is. You could choose to delete the hotspot - but it will break that slide/element of your screen recording action.
The recording will capture all the clicks, scrolls, text, etc. that is done while screen recording. You could look at removing slide that you don't want to include you could look at the editing options here.
Do you mean the highlight over the word properties? That's created by your hovering over it in Windows - and there is no way to remove that within Storyline and I don't know of a way to stop it in Windows.
You'd have to edit the image outside of Storyline and recreate that section of the screen recording, as step by step recordings are inserted into your Storyline course as a part of the background.
You may also want to look into your Windows settings and see if you can change the highlighting behavior or color.
IT is a video so cannot be exported early, you should be able to do this using action fine tuning, just right click and choose action fine tuning and then scroll the timeline back to before you hovered over the object.

Yes. exactly. Then users know where to click and it is not OK for test.
is it possible to edit the image to remove the highlight?

You should be able to use action fine tuning to remove the highlighted area, just scroll back to a time before hovering
Thank you Ashley,
I want to edit it outside of Storyline but i don't know how i can export that image from Storyline and after editing how can i replace it ?
Thanks
