Hi, I have not found a way to use SL to edit a video like that. You can trim it, but not change bits in the middle. I use Adobe Premiere Pro, but any standard video editing tool should be able to do it. There is an older thread that discusses video editing tools: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/building-better-courses/editing-video
The options for how you can edit videos in Storyline are detailed in this tutorial, and if you're looking for some more robust options than that, I'd follow Noel's lead to edit in an external tool.
Hi all, I'm wondering if, once you've edited the video externally, can you bring it back into storyline and use it for step-by-step? I want to remove some screen lag, so need to edit it outside of storyline and then I want to use it for step-by-step. Cheers
While there isn't a way to import a video and use it as step-by-step slides, you can use the action fine tuning feature for precise video editing on each slide.
Check it out, and let me know if that will work for you!
