Replace radio button with checkbox on multiple choice question

Hi, how do I replace the round radio buttons on multiple choice quiz questions (choose a single answer) with the checkmark button found on multiple response questions (choose one or more answers)?

Hi Selina!

If you are hoping for check boxes on a multiple choice question, then no, you will not be able to change that.

I would like to share a thread here with a great user discussion regarding convention of the use of radio vs check boxes. If you desire consistency, you will need utilize the multiple response option.

This would be okay if SL allowed multiple response with multiple choice. Sadly they do not.

Hi Ila!

You can remove the button set on a multiple choice question, and this will allow the learner to choose more than one answer. Here's how:

Select all answer choices by holding down the SHIFT key while selecting each choice.
Right-click on the edge of one of the choices.
Click Button Set.
Choose None.
