I have a lot of screen recordings that I need to do that will then be used for an interactive simulation (show and do).
I want to record my narration separately from screen record. Can you help me with understanding how that can be done? I have not seen anything in the form about that.
If you need to record these elements separately you could disable the audio while screen recording and insert that version, and then use the Insert -> Sound -> Record Mic option to just record your audio. For additional information on working with screen recordings, you may want to review this tutorial. Depending on what you need to do with each piece, you may want to record your screencasts first and then open up a second instance of Storyline so that you can record audio clips while previewing the screen recordings in the first instance to get timing correct. You could also look at using a tool such as Replay which would allow you to have a similar recording set up but may offer more flexibility in terms of lining up the individual tracks.
