Hi, Replay button stops working when the base timeline is set to “resume saved state”. If anyone has found a solution workaround for this, please share. A sample slide is attached.Thanks.
Thanks Phil. Please refer to the file attached in this post. After the animation ends, I want to restart the animation by single click. Not able to find a way to do that. Can you please help here? Thanks.
This is expected behaviour if you use resume saved state, because the refresh button reloads the slide, you could add the animations to alayer and show lair on timeline start
Phil, I checked the option suggested by you to keep the animation in a layer with 'resume saved state'. But, the problem is when I come back from some other slide, the saved state is gone in this case. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
I am having exact same issue - i have a main slide where i need to use Saved State b/c of some branching and check marks which show which branches have been followed. Is there a creative way to have that timeline reset when the user leaves the slide, or exits the course (without wiping out quiz scores) or comes back during another session. I did by the way submit a feature request for a "reset timeline" trigger. :)
i am happy to manually add a button to the slide which says "reset slide" but can't figure out how to program it to work. I am not well versed in any programming or java script.

This is expected behaviour the refresh button reloads the slide based on the revisit state

which will work
Hi Gaurav,
As Phil mentioned that is the expected behavior and for some additional information on how the rewind button will work based on the description here.
Hope that helps!
Thanks Phil and Ashley.

Hi Regina,
I haven't seen a Javascript solution for this, but hope that if someone in the community has created similar they're able to share with you here.
Well that may be the "expected behavior' but doesn't save it from being "dumb".
