Reset results not working

Hello,

 

I need some help! I have set up a couple of questions to my Course and I have a dded a result slide. The succes layer is showing and working as expected. However, the failure layer is not working properly. On this layer I have added a button to rest results and to reset only incorrect questions. 

As I am play testing my course, I have answered incorrectly some of the questions. When I am done with them, the Failure layer is showing, but when I click on the button of reset results, nothing is happening. I am not able to advance in the course nor redo the questions I got wrong.

 

What could be the issue? Any ideas of what to do in this case?

It sounds like the button on the Failure layer doesn't have a trigger to jump back to the first question.

  • FYI: Even when the "Jump to slide __" trigger specifies the first quiz question, Storyline will jump to the first question that the user answered incorrectly when it resets only incorrect questions.

Troubleshooting is often just a “best guess” without seeing the .story file. Here are the best practices for uploading that:

  • Only include slides that are involved in the problem.
  • Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
  • If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.
