I wanted to check to see if there is a way that when the learner clicks on "NO", to the question "do you want to resume where you left off?" that the course will not reset.
What happened is we had someone take the course, fail the quiz and when they relaunched the course, chose "no". When they did this, it reset the course and they had to start all over again.
Is there something that needs to be done differently in the setup?
Start where they left off the last time they visited the course
When the users hits no to resume, it will take them back to start fresh by design.
If you want someone to be able to retake a quiz without starting over, you can set the quiz to have either unlimited attempts, or choose how many they can have, or in the results slide, set the properties to allow user to retake quiz, as seen in step 5 here.
