Result Slides for Varied content

Jul 13, 2014

Hi Everybody,

I am trying to figure out the best way to record completion of training that has varied content depending on the business segment yo uare in.

At the start of the training you are asked your business segment and variables are set that control what content you see. Content for different segments does not take up the same number of slides so a slide count is out.

The training is question driven so I can track with result slides but there isn't the same number of questions posed to different segments.

It would be great if you could track score with a variable i.e: Passing Score % is __ if __

All ideas welcome on how to handle this!

Thanks

What about something that uses slide triggers to show a correct layer for each scenario?

Trigger:

Show businessrole1 Correct Layer on Timeline Start

Conditions:

myvariable = businessrole1

AND results.ScorePoint >= 90

Trigger:

Show businessrole2 Correct Layer on Timeline Start

Conditions:

myvariable = businessrole2

AND results.ScorePoint >= 50

Trigger:

Show businessrole3 Correct Layer on Timeline Start

Conditions:

myvariable = businessrole3

AND results.ScorePoint >= 30

Would that work?

Thanks Sam,

I had been using the end result slide as a tracking/progress slide for staff to view throughout the training. This would mean it would be possible for the slide to submit results incorrectly.

I have adapted your idea a bit to set triggers as to which result slide shows and have linked it to the tracking for the training.

Great! I'm glad that helped.
