Score layes not displaying

Jan 03, 2017

Hi, hoping you can help me work out what i've done wrong.  In my courses I use a slide before the results slide because our LMS (SAP LSO) records as passing when you land on the Results page, regardless of score.

For the attached course, the expected behaviour is not working.  It's strange because if I simply preview the score slide, it picks up the layers but when I publish, the layers are not served up with the score.

I've used this behaviour for over two years with no problems.

Would you mind checking to see what is wrong with it?

It is slide 1.20.  You can see the score slide with layers depending upon the score received against the pass score.

Hi Rodney

i didn't launch it from Scormcloud when the warning came up. I did preview the module but just from the assessment and in preview the layers didn't load - I'm suspecting because of the PacAl_Template variable that is getting triggered somewhere else in the module that I didn't visit.

Have you checked that the PacAl_Template variable is being triggered correctly?

Hi Rodney!

Thanks for sharing your file here. I was able to upload the file to SCORM Cloud and saw that the layers on slide 1.20 did not appear - I could only see my score and the passing score.

I noticed that you had the trigger shown below on many of your quiz slides. Therefore, after attempting the quiz only once, the trigger value was well over 3. I removed that trigger from all quiz slides except question #1. Each time the user revisits question #1, the trigger below will add 1 to the variable.

I re-published the file and uploaded it to SCORM Cloud, and it appears to be working as expected. You can test it yourself using this link. Please take a look and let me know if it works for you!

Thanks Wendy and Alyssa.

When I create questions I usually copy existing ones (that have the attempt counter) but I didn't remove the counter from questions 2 to 10.

My head is still in holiday mode obviously.

Thank you both again.  It's great that I can pose a question and you've already replied by the time I come in the next day.

I'll remove my file from this thread also.

Have a great day!
