I am using a scrolling panel to display pages of a form, 1 panel per page, with hover over areas for the learners to see the information to be entered into the fields.
The scroll bar from the panel has disappeared as I try to line up the form page (.jpg picture), inside the scrollling panel.
Has anyone else had the expereince of lining up obects in a scrolling panel and the scroll bar disappears? How do you get it back?
I've seen this happen when I haven't gotten the item actually within the scroll box, but instead it's laying over the top of it. You should be able to see it on the timeline if it's still accessible and if you don't see it there you'll want to add in a new scrolling panel.
Thank you Ashley, its seems i didnt have any of the the items in the scrolling panel. so I have respositioned them all and they all now appear under the scrolling panel on the timeline, yet the scroll bar has not yet come back. Is it just a matter now of adjusting slighlty till you get it to come back?
I have had this issue with quiz questions, the scroll bar appears when I don't want it to because of the size of the panel. Perhaps try increasing the size of the scrolling panel slightly till it appears.
Are you able to drag the items into the scrolling panel - that's when the scrolling bar will start to appear and adjust once the panel needs to begin scrolling. There is a video in this tutorial on working with scrolling panels, and you'll see how you have to drag the elements into the panel.
Just wanted to jump in and say that I too have difficulty with scrolling panels. Eventually I get them to work, but I find I need to futz with them. Just a little moral support
