I'm using SL2. I recently noticed that the Seek bar and volume control are not visible, thus unavailable on a slide when the slide is viewed as a lightbox. Is this by design or am I doing something wrong.
Although you can't enable the volume button or seek bar a lightbox slide, you could create your own custom play and pause buttons! Check out this thread from Christine for an example.
Tell me more about what you want the restart button to do. Do you want it to restart the lightbox slide from the beginning of the timeline? If so, there's a simple way to do that!
Add a button called "Restart" to the lightbox slide. Add a trigger to this button to jump to the current slide when the user clicks the button.
Finally, change the revisiting setting of the lightbox slide to "Reset to initial state."
Hi Teresa. It sounds like you're running into an HTML5 specific bug for Storyline 2 where the slide does not reset to the initial state. Google Chrome disables Flash Player by default, so you the difference between IE and Chrome is likely the HTML5 output.
I'll add this discussion to our report. Just to compare, this function does work in Storyline 360 and Storyline 3.

Hi there Daniel!

Hope that helps you!
Thank you for your response.
I need a restart button. I don't see how I can add one on my lightbox slide and get it to perform as needed. Any suggestions?

Give that a try, and let me know how it goes!
Hi there. It worked! In IE! But not in Chrome. The buttons definitely don't work in Chrome as expected. :(
I added a restart, pause, and play button. When one of them is chosen, the others do not work.
Any workaround?
