Seekbar in Layers

I'm leveraging layers for several slides in a course I'm building. Each of these layers has their own audio, and I'm using triggers to show the next slide/layer when each timeline ends.
I'm struggling with the seekbar and play/pause functionality. The base slides all include a seekbar and play/pause button, but the layers have no seekbar and no pause button. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Hi, Lauren,
[UPDATE: Deleted inaccurate info about using seeking in layers.]
You could create custom buttons to pause and play the audio on your layers.
Another option: Create a video with your audio as the soundtrack. Then insert the video with the controls showing. But cover up the video part with what you really want to show.
Thanks, Judy. This is helpful!
Hello Lauren, not sure if this is helpful, but you can adjust the Slide Layer Properties to allow seeking so that you can control the audio/layer via the seekbar.
See attached example of an interaction that does this. I know that you are using layers as slides, but perhaps you can extract an idea from the example.
Jeff,
I'm so glad you jumped in. I'd never noticed that "allow seeking" option in the Slide Layer Properties.
I completely missed that setting, too! That's exactly what I needed. Thank you both!
Glad it was helpful. Both have a great day.
