I've created a slide out menu which requires the slides, for which the menu is active, to 'reset to initial state' in order to stop the menu popping back out upon revisits.
The problem I have is that I want the buttons on the slide to save their 'visited' state so that the user can see where they've been.
Is there a way to set the buttons as 'Resume Saved State' or is there another way to achieve my goal?
I'm unable to upload the module as each time I try it fails.
What i suggest is to create a true/false variable with a default value of false.....set trigger to adjust variable...when user clicks the particular button to the value true....add another trigger....change state of button to visited when variable changes with condition that variable is true.
I have attached a story file for ur understanding.

Hi Hassan,
I think your idea will help me but could I ask you to post the example again as when I attempt to open it I get an XML error.
Thanks,
Louis
Thanks for posting this again, I still cannot open it just seems to open some XML in a webpage.
I've managed to work my way through setting this up as a variable and got it working but when I return to the variable has reset...?
Is there a way to make the variable retain the state?
Louis add a trigger on the slide....change state of button to selected when timeline starts if (add this in condition) variable is true.
I am attaching file again c if now u can view it.
Thanks for your patience Hassan, I've now got this working!
Dats gud Louis...glad 2 knw dat!
