We are launching a company-wide competition, and it's imperative that users pick up where they left off if they close and reopen the module. However, some users are able to close the module, and when they reopen it, they go to previous slides they've already seen, rather to where they left off. This is a module of about 60 slides total, and we've been told that an LMS will only be able to store a certain number of slides in its "cache" or memory. Is there any way to set up the module so that it takes users back to exactly where they left off if they close and re-open the module?
Which LMS are you using? If you can publish to score 2004 3rd edition and above will help. Also setting the slides to reset to initial state may reduce the data being sent.
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience.
It looks like Phil has popped in to help you out with the relevant information. I wanted to share an article that explains SCORM Data Limits, which in turn explains why SCORM 2004 3rd and 4th edition may work better for you.
Just let us know if we need to take a look at anything.
