I was looking through the FAQ, but I don't seem to see a way to build a pause into the timeline to accommodate a PPT build. I imported the pres from PPT into Storyline and the builds are all on the timeline, but it cruises right through them. Do i have to build another button for the content? Would it work to automatically stop at the end of each build?
Then on your base layer, add a pause button. The pause button would just have a trigger that opens the layer. On the layer properties, make sure the layer pauses playback of the base layer.
On the layer itself, you could do something like add a button to start the build again. In fact, you can have it appear over your pause button on the base layer and look just like it. To this button on the layer just add an action to close the layer.
That way learners can pause the build on the base layer when they want to and resume it when they want to also.

Hi!
Well you could add a layer to your build slide.

Thanks Gerry!
I'm actually giving a presentation on SL so i figured I would use it for the presentation too and I was more in my PPT mindset.
It isn't vital to do it that way but good to know as I get more entrenched into it.
Thank you!!!
