I'm working on a quiz question where the user has to put the answer options into the proper order sequence. Trick is, there are 5 of them and they are lengthy sentences that take up a good portion of the interface. Not much room for a drag and drop (as I imagine the drop area has to be separate area from the options area.) Also, can drag and drop be part of a graded quiz?
Any suggestions how I can handle this quiz question?
instead of dragging the sentences into order perhaps have the numbers 1 to 5 and drag them onto the sentences. Yes a Freeform DnD can be part of a graded quiz as long as you have points assigned and the slide is ticked on the result slide to be included.
Here is a rough sample - (in correct order just so you can see how it works)

I'll try that set-up....Thank you!
Oh sorry I did the example in SL360 - not SL2 (very early here in Australia ;-) - here is a quick Peek how it looks
