I inserted a video to play in the slide in SL 2 and went to change the option to "Play Video" using a trigger but it's not an option? I only have 2 options - automatically or when clicked.
Where did the on trigger option go? How would I get this same action?
How have you added the video, and what type of video is it? Also, do both monitors have the same DPI setting or just the one you're working on? Are you seeing this with every file that you're working on in Storyline - if so, the next steps will be to go through the repair of Storyline.
This issue is happening to me. May I know if anyone knows what solution is? I have got the latest SL2 update. Have tried several videos but it's still not giving me the "on trigger" option. Please help.

Hm, that's odd. This option is still available in SL2 and it works for me. I tried both a local video (from file) and a hosted video.
Here's my screen:
With no option to scroll down.
Hi Katie,
Typically when elements are missing from the Storyline UI it's an issue with the DPI setting. Did you check that?
All of my DPI settings meet the requirements. I use 2 monitors - does that make a difference?
Just tried the video on both of my monitors, no option still.

Hi James,
You mentioned trying multiple videos, were they all the same file type or inserted the same way?
If you're missing part of the UI, that's also a common effect when the DPI setting of your system doesn't adhere to the guidelines here.
