I have a "bid roadmap" where I have a Hauler truck that has stops or stations where I want to display text boxes for the learner to read about the different process in our Bidding System.
I could use the picture map, but I like the slider effect.
Any suggestions?

Is the idea to drag the truck from traffic cone to traffic cone? Or do you want the cones to be clickable in sequence and the truck is moved along the road from cone to cone?
Great question and idea to seek input on the community from - so I'll leave the how-to elements in their expert hands.
I only noticed that your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if you would like by clicking Edit beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
I guess I can add extra steps in the slider while keeping the text box the same? That box is a separate layer. I guess I could just duplicate the trigger, right?
I already made some adjustment to the development version. I will try to publish it on Review later today.
That being said, I do have to compromise between development time and 'perfect' design.

Uploaded new version. Thanks for the great comments, that is appreciated. Worked with Rise for over a year (2016-2017) before tackling Storyline. I learned a few bad habits that I am trying to shake.
Articulate Rise is great for quick publishing but does lack the flexibility afforded with Storyline.
That's what I was thinking also Russell. Going back to the idea of using an on-screen "Continue" button that could control each of the individual motion paths would allow the truck to seemingly travel along the path.
I used one motion path. In the properties of the Layers, I checked the option to 'Pause timeline of base layer'. This way the truck pauses when a layer is open. When the layer is closed, the timeline of the base layer resumes and the truck continues on its way.

Either would work.
Alternatively, a go button that would start the truck moving from one cone to the next, with a text box opening up to explain the process.
Here is something I started playing with.

Of course, the voiceover would be a real person speaking.

That's a good start. You could add more steps to the slider and more states to the car object, to make the movement smoother.

Hello Alain,
I thought instead of using a slider, you could use a motion path on the truck. When the truck intersects a cone, a layer pops up.
Here's what I came up with.

Ah, sweet. I don't have latest versions of SL so could look at your file.
