Sound effect with trigger--inconsistent behavior

I have a slide layer with two sound triggers. One for when you arrive and the timeline starts, and the other when you click to return to the base layer.
What happens is that the sound will not play when I click the Hide Box and hide the layer. When I return to the layer, both sounds play simultaneously when the timeline starts.
Both sounds are on the slide layer.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Aaron,
Off the top of my head : Try modifying the Hide Layer trigger to : Hide layer-->this layer-->when media "click 1" completes.
That should probably do it.
