Hi @ all,
I have a new, interesting problem with SCORM Output.
We publish our courses as SCORM 1.2 .
When we have cyrillic titles, the title shown in the manifest is ?????????? ???????? ????.
For sure, I could change the title to an english one, but then, the title in player would be english too.
Is there a possibility to have another title in the player than in the manifest?
With totara and english title, an ' causes even opening problem (so to say: the lmsAPI can't be found and therefore the course doesn't start.
Maybe you have an idea concerning this problem?
Regards
Johanna

Wondering out loud here but I'm wondering if the SCORM standard demands stock English characters in the title?
I could be wrong but I thought that was a requirement of one or more of the standards (AICC or SCORM).
Yeah, I think that too, but therefore it should be possible to have another title in storyline than the title shown in the manifest.
Maybe there is a way I can't think of to make this work.
YoU Should be able to change this in the publish settings under reporting and tracking. You can set a different title to the title of the course in the LMS course information.
Hi Phil,
thanks a lot for your reply.
Unfortunatly, this setting also changes the title that is shown in the player on top. So I see no possibility to have another title in the player than in the lms communication for now :(
Sorry, when you edit the lms info it does not change when you get back to the publish screen. But after publish it is updated. I thought it was a bug, but it is likely a bug
