Splitting bulleted list into separate text boxes. Easy way?

Jul 22, 2019

Hi. I have many slides with bullet form lists (whole list in one text box). I need to edit so that each bullet is in its own separate text box, to work with screen readers. Is there an easier way of separating these out than manually drawing each text box and copy/pasting the text in? Thanks!

  1. Copy the current text box into memory, don't paste yet
  2. Now LOCK this box on the timeline so it won't move or interfere with the next part
  3. Paste a copy on top
  4. F2 to access the text and remove all the content except the first line.
  5. Use ARROWS to quickly move it back into place over the locked box which is now your template for positions.
  6. Paste another copy, F2 edit out all but the second line, arrow into position
  7. Lather, rinse, repeat
  8. When the last  line is done, unlock the original box and delete it
