Storyline 360 responsive player timing is not the same as the desktop player
Nov 01, 2017
When my course plays on the responsive player, all of the audio and visual timings are out of sync. The objects move slower than the audio. When played on the standard player, they are in sync. I haven't even tested what happens when placed in our LMS, this is all through Review.
Also, there is no seekbar or volume in the responsive player (or I didn't find it).
I need my course to work in either environment. How do I sync visual state changes with audio (think character changes his pose while voice over is playing) and have it work in both?
I saw there was discussion about forcing the course to always play in the desktop player. This may be a use case for that, but I would be fine with the responsive player if things were in sync.

Well, the good news is after testing with more devices, it looks like the issue is internet latency, not the player.
Oh no Lynn! Sorry to hear that you had difficulty, but glad you are tracking down the culprit.
