Storyline Course Crashes - Page fails to load fully

Hi All,

Firstly if this is a replicated topic, I would appreciate any direction to existing threads.  

Currently we have several published courses that will intermittently stall.  The stalls usually look like various elements are not loaded or half loaded. (Images and buttons will sometimes partially appear).  Often this leaves the user stuck and unable to click critical buttons or complete activities.

Our development and deployment platform is as follows:

Storyline 2004, 3rd Edition zip published (HTML 5 compatible)

Loaded into SCORMcloud

Deployed via Clui LMS

Tested on desktop Safari, Chrome, IE, Firefox.

At the moment Firefox appears to be the only browser we haven't had a crash on but this could just be luck.

Tested on PC and Mac (The machines we use are for high end 3D production so we are reasonably sure that they are not the issue)

We have also replicated the crashes in the SCORMcloud sandpit so we are pretty sure the LMS is not the problem.

My gut feel at the moment is that this is may be similar to the ipad memory issues. Failing that it could be an issue with SCORMcloud not loading the content in a timely manner.  

I'm aware this is a complex problem that reaches far beyond simply the storyline realm, however I'm hoping there are others out there who have confronted the same issue and may be able to help point our team in the right direction.

On some occasion we will have a user that reports a video did not load, or a page does not load fully.  They close the browser, go back and same thing.  We ask our users to clear their cache and that seems to fix it every time.

On the iPad, it does like to cache pages ... so maybe an issue there.  If you clear out the cache does the error still occur?
