I've noticed a bug in Storyline 2 when you enable Notes on some slides, but not others. The scrollbar in the Notes section seems to disappear and reappear based on the consecutive slides settings.
Please see my attached example with Storyline. I can't send the original course, but I was able to recreate the issues.
Thank you in advance for your help with this matter.
I get the same behaviour as you. I changed the slide properties between the two Player default and Custom and it still didn't work - I would log a support ticket with Articulate to see if they have a workaround for it. Good luck
Thanks for assisting Jennifer here, Wendy, and I will be on the lookout for her ticket to share relevant updates here in the thread for others who may have a similar question. :)
Sure. I agree. When I switched the notes to the top Toolbar the issue didn't seem to happen, but I did more testing with the sidebar, since that's how the Client had their file set up. Maybe that's another possible work around.
Thanks Jennifer for sharing that here as another idea. I've included this thread in the report filed with our QA team so that I can update you here as well once there is any additional information to share. I cannot offer a timeframe in regards to that, but we'll be in touch once I have information to pass along.

Great idea, Wendy! I've submitted a support case in regards to the issue. Hopefully there's a workaround.

I got an email from the support team and this is the workaround until it's fixed:
"As a workaround you do have the option to enable the Notes panel on all the slides."
Thanks Jennifer for sharing here.
Thanks for sharing that Jennifer,,,not ideal but a workaround.
Just a thought does the same thing happen if the notes panel is on the top toolbar instead of the sidebar. May not suit you to have it located there.

No problem. I figured since others may have the issue too it should help to post the options/workarounds available until the issue/bug is fixed.
:D
Absolutely Jennifer - just wanted to share that info with you and others following this thread as well.
