I am trying to record a Pharmacy management software to make a manual but it is not working.
I record the screen, but when saving it as "Step by step explanation slides / View mode steps", the corresponding slides are not saved. I don't even see the mouse move.
If I try it anywhere else, internet, powerpoint ... it works correctly.
Gosh, sorry you're running into this! Let's see what's causing the mix up.
Storyline 360 and Storyline 3 create step-by-step slides based on the clicks during a screen recording. Are you noticing the text isn't thoroughly explaining the steps from the recording? If so, step-by-step slides are fully customizable. The text boxes can be edited as well as the motion path for the mouse.
Based on your post, it sounds like the Screencast feature works in other areas like a web page or powerpoint slide for example. Are you recording this program on a full screen or a smaller window? If you haven't tried already, could I have you try to record the Screencast on a smaller window?
Please give that a shot and let us know how that works out!
I don't understand what it's happens. Maybe it's something of the pharmacy software, I have set all the permissions and other settigns but it doesn't work either.
The print screen button will create a break point in the video as if you had pressed a button just press it at the same time as when you press the mouse button, it is probably worth raising a support case to see why it doesn't work.

Is this what you mean by "not corresponding?"
This article walks through the the tips and tricks to screen recordings in Storyline 360 and Storyline 3.
Not quite. What I mean is that the slides are not being created step-by-step
Only one slide is created
Trank you!

Uff I'm a little desperate.
Thank you for your help!
Is the software installed on your screen or are you using some form of virtualisation/thin client to view it.
Hi Phil,
The software installed on the screen.
Thanks!
It sounds like it is not registering the click, are you using a touch screen? You can try manually adding the breaks by using the print screen button
Hi Phil,
I'm not using a touch screen.
The print screen button is a solucion but that's too work. In this case I prefer to use power point
Thank you!
