When I preview or indeed publish the module, the screen is tiny and the text is blurred.
What resolution should I set my laptop screen too? Also, is there any other setting I need to tweak in Storyline One to ensure that the images and text on screen are clear.
Ultimately I will be publishing as a SCORM and uploading to Moodle. The participants will be viewing the recordings on 23 inch monitors.
To avoid scaling of you screencast, your story size should be at least the same size as your screen recordings. So for instance, if you set you laptop resolution to 1024x768 and record at that resolution, your story size should be 1024x768 or larger..
I know you and I talked about this in another thread, and you mentioned sharing your file so that we could take a look - but it wasn't posted in the thread. Did you end up reaching out to our support team? If you have a case number, I'm happy to check in on the status of your case.
Thanks John, and I see that John Say was able to take a look at your files and confirm that this blurriness you were seeing is the expected display based on how the slides will not be as clear as the published to Web output since the slide is resized to fit in a Word document page.
There were some updates to the overall quality of the screenshots in Update 4 of Storyline 1, as you can see here in the release notes - but based on what you shared with John and here it seems that still the images are not as crisp as you would like.

Hi John
It sounds like you need to consider what story size you are publishing to. You can your story as described here: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-1/articles/choosing-a-story-size

Hope that helps

Hi Bjarne
I have solved the issue with the screen resolution however I have encountered an issue when I publish to Word.
The screen shots and text are blurry.
Any ideas on how I can resolve this?
