so unlike rise, storyline does NOT generate what seems like all the necessary js or lms files that should go along with it to work with TinCan properly. Specifically a file that has the 'Success' attributes. anyone know why this is, and what is the way to do it without coding one of these associated files?
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing with your Storyline file.
How do you have the Reporting Option set when publishing your course? It sounds like you may be expecting both a Completion and Success status, so please check out this document for recommendations.
I also have an issue with that and the exported files seems should work, but the story.html that I try to open, did not load the content, only the menu. but if I change one parameter from the story.html - tinCanPresent: true, change to tinCanPresent: false, like simulating that it is not tinCan but WEB , so it loads data. How it is possible to export with tinCan and make it load content to send data to the LRS system.
It sounds like you may have already found the answer you need.
Tin Can API (also known as Experience API) features fully support Articulate content in your learning management system (LMS), but it sounds like you are using an LRS or Learning Record Store.
