Storyline upgrade error

Hi.
I am trying to install Storyline 2 on my machine. I have the previous storyline installed on my machine. When i go to run the .exe i get the following error: "Please close running instance of storyline before continuing." Storyline is not running on the machine. I am not sure why it will not install. I tried downloading it and running it from my machine also but i get the same error. If you are a platium customer, is there a chat support?

Hi Lora,
Yes, you can always connect with our Support engineers here and as you'll see there if you're a platinum member you'll need to find the activation email with the link or email our support team using the submit button and they'll help you.
You may want to begin by rebooting your computer though, just to ensure there aren't any background processes still running accessing Storyline somehow.
