Storyline video editor
Mar 16, 2016
I have found the below storyline video editor guidelines, and after following the instructions I have been able to figure out how to use the TRIM tool to select out a clip, but I am now stuck. I have a 4 minute video out of which I need to remove several spots. Is it possible to remove SEVERAL spots with the trim tool? I need to delete 10 seconds from the 1 minute mark, and another 10 seconds from the 1.5 minute mark. How do I do that?

Download a free copy of Microsoft Movie Maker.
You can start it, load the video, cut out the spots, save it, and load it into SL in about the same time it takes the editor in SL to open. Plus you'll have much greater control of the exact spot where you trim it.
Hi Vicki!
As you can see from the documentation you referenced, you have the ability to trim the beginning and the end, but not to 'cut' anything out of the video. We typically recommend utilizing a 3rd party tool, much like Walt suggested above, if you need a more robust video editor.
