I created a quiz question where the answer is NO. I have 4 different variations that someone can enter. But, the object trigger says: "What does Set ________ equal to a value when control loses focus?"
The question works correctly. However, I do want to know what that means.
When you click into the data entry field it is "in focus." When click away the it is no longer in focus. Thus, when you add data into the field (in focus) and click away (lose focus) it sets the value for that variable.

Thanks Tom. So what do I set up? What type of variable do I need, if any?
If you insert a text entry question, Storyline will create the variable for you. Here's a recording.

If you delete the variable, you'll see "Set unassigned equal to value..."
Thanks, Tom. I will put back the variable - I probably didn't notice it!

Thank You, David. One of the things that I would like to do for these quiz questions, is to jazz up the slide. But, the client is in a hurry!
