I have a multiple choice quiz slide. I'm using the notes tab as a transcript for the narration. When I preview the slide, the text for the quiz question is automatically inserted on top of the notes I entered (transcript). Is there a way to prevent the quiz question from showing up automatically in the notes tab?
This is a known issue when using Questions from a question bank. Our QA team is aware of it, althoughI cannot offer a time frame for when or if this issue will be addressed. If your questions are not part of a question bank, are you able to share the .story file with us here or by sending it privately here?
My work-around for this problem was to remove the question text from the default question field and place it in a new text field that I placed in the slide on top of the default (and now blank) question field. This removes the question from the notes section. I was then able to paste the question into the notes tab in the desired location.
Not a big deal, but it would be nice to have the option to uncheck a box and prevent the question from being posted automatically in the notes. I suppose this may have something to do with Section 508 compliance, but if there are additional instructions for the slide (i.e., how to complete the question), it's nice to be able to control the order and display of these in the notes.

I am not using a question bank and I submitted the file via the link above. Thanks for your quick response.
Thanks David, and I see your case (#00363993 for my reference) and I'll follow along as well.
Hi David,
I'm just following up as I see that Jayem sent you an update on Friday that he was able to reproduce your issue and forward it along to our QA team.

Thanks David for sharing your workaround here. In regards to controlling the order, you may want to submit that as a feature request.
