That is very odd that the trigger language has changed. A couple of questions for you as we dive in:
When creating projects in Storyline, are you working from a network drive?
When did you start noticing these changes? Is this happening in every file?
To start, what might help is to conduct a repair of Storyline. Since Storyline isn't working properly, a repair should help resolve the issue. You can find the steps on how to do this here:
