I am new to creating projects. I currently have one which has each slide made up of 4 layers. The base layer, Layer 1, Layer 2 and Incomplete. The idea is that the user has to click on the 2 rectangles which in turn displays layers 1 & 2. if they click next before clicking on these, they will see layer incomplete which tells them they must access the information before moving on. This has worked in other projects and when i tested each slide individually. The issue is when testing the whole scene the triggers only work for the first slide and not the rest allowing you to click next straight away. Is this a bug or an issue with how i have set up the triggers??????
May be the variables you use (e.g. the SlideComplete) are set somewhere else in your scene. That would explain why it works when you run each slide individually, but not when previewing the entire scene.
That was my initial thought. I have change each slide complete to incorporate the individual slide numbers plus changing each layer number but still no luck. I had an idea to change the layers to complete when visited so trying that shortly.
Thanks for contacting us and sharing what you are experiencing with your project.
Are the variables for each slide different or are you using the same variables? You will need different variables for each slide otherwise, that explains the behavior you are seeing.
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
