triggers for score board
Aug 07, 2020
Hi community,
I built a soccer-themed SL course with 15 questions.
The master slide contains a score board, so learners can see how they answered the questions:
Each circle represents a question and has three states: White (unanswered), green (correct answer), red (wrong answer).
The master slide contains a total of 30 triggers to change the state of the score board points accordingly, e.g.:
Change state of Point1 to green if Question1 is right when timeline starts
Change state of Point1 to red if Questions1 is false when timeline starts
etc.
Now, this is working, but there's a noticable delay each time the learner clicks on the "next" button to call the next quesion. I'm guessing that's because SL needs to run through all 30 triggers before showing the next slide. But I don't get the same delay for feedback layers, even though the feedback master also contains those 30 triggers...
So my question is: Is there any way to build the scoreboard in a different way so it might run faster?
I'm not working with a question bank, but with a set of slides in a set order.
I'll attach the file.
Thanks in advance :)
