Tying a Trigger to the Next Button Before Jumping to Slide
Jul 28, 2015
Hi All!
I have a question regarding tying a trigger to the next button before jumping to the following slide. We have set up motion paths for the slide title to animate in when the timeline starts and would like for it to animate out (via a motion path) when the learner clicks the next button. I have this currently set up where "move the title along motion path 1 when user clicks the next button" is BEFORE the actual "jump to slide trigger." However, this is happening so abruptly you can't actually tell the title is animating out.
Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations on how I can make this more smooth or more apparent the title is actually leaving the screen?
Thansk so much!

You nedd to adjust the JumpToNext slide trigger so that it only jumps AFTER the motion path animation had completed.
Hi Michael!
Just put together what you were saying and that makes complete sense. Thanks for the input!
I forgot to mention that the motion path animation only starts when the Next button is clicked, So in a somewhat roundabout way, the motionpath and the JumpToNext slide action are tied to the Next button.
Glad you got the help you needed here Nathan and thanks for the update.
