I have a Storyline 2 file that was created on a PC running Windows 7. I can't open it in Storyline2 on a Macbook pro running Parallels 10 desktop. I get the error message:
'The project is invalid or corrupt and cannot be opened. It may have been created in an earlier version of Storyline.'
I have set up Parallels without shared access as recommended and I can create new Storyline2 files, but they then do not open on the PC running Win 7 giving me the same message.
The Storyline2 files open perfectly on the machine they were created on.
Any ideas?
Do I need to copy more file across as well as the .story file?
I do have both versions but on a different laptops, I think it must be a file corruption as some other Storyline 2 files open correctly in the Parallels environment . Going to do some more testing tomorrow.

Hi John
have you tried copying the .story file and renaming it and then try opening it
Just tried it, same error message as before
doh
Hi John,
How are you sharing the .story files back and forth? When needing to share files you'll want to follow a method such as the one detailed here for collaborative environments.
Right click and open in Storyline 2, looks like you have both versions installed
