Work on your local drive (your C: drive).Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, includingfile corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
You should also make sure the directory pathto your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters(for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents orsymbols in your file names.
If after confirming that you're following the steps above and you're still having difficulty, you'll want to see if it's specific to this one file or any of your Storyline files. You could try opening a new project and placing content on one slide and see if you're able to publish that version. If you can, I'd suggest taking your other project and importing it into a new Storyline project. If your new one slide project also doesn't publish I'd recommend conducting the repair of Storyline detailed here.
