Uploading to server in Parallels
Jan 23, 2014
I am about to make the transition from Captivate to Storyline . . . I think. But I want to make sure I have a few issues ironed out before popping for a purchase. It seems clear that Articulate is not going to make a Mac version of Storyline, so I have resigned myself to the fact that I will have to use Parallels on my Macbook.
Can someone tell me how I upload a published E-learning module to my server from Parallels? That is, if I publish a module in Parallels, can I upload the finished product on my Mac using my Mac-based FTP, in Mavericks OS, instead of Windows 7 in Parallels?

You should be able to upload the published files from your Parallels instance using the Mac side. It's easy enough to access your Windows files when in the Mac environment. You should be able to deal with them just like any other Mac file.
I use Yummy FTP on the Mac side works great. You just need to set up parallels to share files with the Mac, the new Parallels also shares Dropbox and other cloud based offerings
